A nearly $1.5 million contract and a property transfer amendment were brought up and unanimously passed without a word of discussion. Mohawk Valley Materials was the lowest of two bidders ($1,421,315.85) on a contract for “professional services relating to Pinti Field and Bellamy Harbor FEMA Recovery Project.” This was nearly $204k higher than the engineer’s estimate. The board also approved a change to a transfer agreement that allows the buyer to legally remove a deed restriction.
